Dave and Carlie celebrated their wedding at Strawberry Creek Ranch. They had one of the best sunsets I saw all summer! Strawberry Creek Ranch is a gorgeous venue. The ranch has a beautiful getting ready cabin, and an amazing ceremony location in front of a pond with a mountain view. Dave and Carlie had dinner under the tent and dancing was outside under the stars.
Pick Me Weddings was the coordinator. When I arrived early to have a look around, she told me about all of her favorite spots for photos, and as someone who shoots everything based on light, she was right about those spots! 🙂
Their are a lot of GIFs of Carlie’s dress because it was the perfect flowy, summer dress! The thing that stands out to me about this wedding was how much these two love each other. I know that sounds totally cliche but I mean it. They are so cute together I could have done their portraits for hours.
During the ceremony, for the vows, Carlie said to Dave, “This is the part I’ve been looking forward to the most.” That really resonated with me. Most people try to rush through the ceremony as fast as possible, but Carlie wanted Dave, and everyone to hear the promises she was going to make to Dave. I love that!
They got ready at a huge cabin down the road from Strawberry Creek Ranch.

The grooms brother gave a very touching speech. Clearly, as he said, Carlie belonged in their family.
