This Union Station Denver Wedding actually took place at The Pines at Genesee. While, a Union Station Denver Wedding is neat, getting ready there (at the Crawford Hotel) before your wedding is a great idea! Dawn and Armen started their day at Union Station. Each of their rooms were large and beautiful! From the chairs, to the carpets and ceilings, this is no ordinary hotel. I highly recommend splurging on a hotel like this for your getting ready part of the day. There were so many places for detail photos, portraits, and as you’ll se in a minute, we found a gorgeous spot for the first look.
Next, we headed to The Pines at Genesee, where we did family photos, and then the ceremony. Dawn and Armen didn’t have a bridal party, so they got more time for photos of just the two of them! I think that’s pretty neat.
The Pines at Genesee is a great venue. The Evergreen Wedding Terrace is exceptional. It’s nestled inside a forest with wooden benches. I especially loved the way Dawn and Armen dressed their ceremony site. They had a gorgeous rug that ran down the aisle and the most perfect florals hanging from the arch. The light coming through the ceremony is so angelic and beautiful! If you get married there, make sure it’s a 2-3 hours before sunset so you can get that gorgeous light, too. We did Dawn and Armen’s portraits in the field next to their reception. These two are so in love. It really comes through in their photos.
