Ashley and Aaron’s wedding at Grant-Humphreys Mansion was filled with gorgeous details, florals, and plenty of friends and family. Grant-Humphreys Mansion is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The mansion was built in 1902 and was home to two families before becoming a location for weddings and events.
Ashley and Aaron met at work and I love the connection they have. Aaron is always being goofy and making Ashley laugh. Their portraits together are some of my favorites. Something Styled Events was the coordinator as well as the florist. They did such a beautiful job brining Ashley’s vison together.
The ceremony took place outside on the steps of Grant-Humphreys Mansion. I think the speckled light coming through the trees adds an element of beauty. Cocktail hour was on the side of the mansion. Dinner took place in the main room on the first floor of the and a few connecting rooms nearby. And dancing was in the basement, which I thought was a great idea. The basement ceiling was easy to bounce light off of for dancing shots. Enjoy!
I’ll start the photos with my favorite part of the day–portraits at sunset! They even let us up on the rooftop for some photos. Ashley and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done at Ella Bliss Beauty Bar, just 10 minutes away from the venue. Nervous hands. The bridal suite at the mansion is big and bright! It’s perfect. She’s a bombshell!A tearful first look with dad.
And check out this GORGEOUS ceremony set up by Something Styled Events! There’s nothing like the feeling of “just married”!Cocktail hour…The grand entrance to dinner down the staircase at Grant-Humphreys Mansion. And that’s a wrap! Congratulations and good night. 🙂
